"Last week when we picked up our daughter at Dartmouth, we observed tears coming from her eyes after her after her last game. She was upset that her week was over. She enjoyed her experience so much that she wanted to make sure that we knew she wanted to go for the 2 weeks session next year.

This was her third year at Elite. Her previous 2 years had been at Norwich. She was impressed with the counselors, instructors, and the facilities.

She usually keeps to herself and does not share her emotions. So I was shocked to see her actually hug her goalie coaches at the end. We are happy that that this experience seems to have gotten her out of her shell and made a notable impression on her.

The Elite Comprehensive Training Program

At the Elite Hockey Training Center, we are looking for that individual who is a good player, but more importantly, is motivated and committed to learning and improving skills and knowledge. All activities, both on and off the ice, have been designed to contribute to the total hockey development.

Session 1 : Dartmouth College:

July 25 - July 30, 2010 - Ages 13-17

Session 2: Dartmouth College:

August 1 - August 13, 2010 - Ages 13-17

Session 3: Dartmouth College:

August 1- August 6, 2010 - Ages 13-17

Session 4: Dartmouth College:

August 8- August 13, 2010 - Ages 13-17

Elite and Regular Divisions: As in past years, there will be two different divisions in all Sessions. Both divisions will follow identical schedules, but the elite division will be made up of players who, regardless of their age, intend to make an impact at the college level. The regular division will consist of players who are at camp because they are committed to strengthening their foundation in the fundamentals and look forward to playing competitive high school and college hockey. Team and session placement will be determined by experience before arriving at camp, and a thorough on-ice skill evaluation once the player arrives.

Dartmouth College is located off interstates 89 and 91, one hour beyond Concord, NH, two hours north of Boston, and two hours and fifteen minutes from Hartford, CT.

Session 5: Norwich University:

July 18 - July 23, 2010 - Ages 8-16 - Age/Ability Groupings

Session 5 will be held at Norwich University and there will be two divisions determined by both age and ability. The Norwich Session caters to younger players with experience and older players who may have only played 1-4 years of hockey. Team and session placement will be determined by experience before arriving at camp, and a thorough on-ice skill evaluation once the player arrives. If you are a committed hockey player, no matter how old or how much experience you have had, we want you here!

Norwich University boasts a new arena in the beautiful small town of Northfield, Vermont. It is the perfect location to provide a safe and comfortable environment for younger players. All players will be housed in the same dormitory to create a family-type atmosphere.

Norwich University is located off Interstate 89 between Hanover, NH and Burlington, VT.

We also offer four weeks of boys' residential camps at Norwich. (See Boys Camps Link)

Goaltenders Individualized Program

The Elite Hockey Training Center GOALTENDERS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM is designed to maximize each goal tenders potential. Individualized training programs are developed for each goaltender based on age, experience, and ability. EVERY SESSION AT ELITE HAS A GOALTENDERS' PROGRAM INCLUDED.

While each goaltender will participate in an individualized goalie program with specialized instructors, he/she will also refine game skills by participating in the afternoon and evening sessions.

On-ice goaltender training is designed to improve players' agility, coordination, stance, technique and concentration. Emphasis is placed upon the proper technique for covering angles and the importance of correct position in the net. Skating speed and agility are improved through daily power skating instruction. The proper techniques of stretching are taught to increase the goaltenders flexibility and to prevent injury.

Dry land training for goaltenders includes drills to improve hand-eye and eye-foot coordination, as well as agility and speed. Individualized video analysis for each goaltender.

On and off the ice, concentration and confidence are stressed as goaltending skills.

• SPECIALIZED GOALTENDER INSTRUCTORS

• SPECIAL GOALIE FILMS AND LECTURES

• SPECIAL OFF-ICE TRAINING
